Many years the whole industry talked about PSD2 and by 14th September 2019 PSD2 APIs are finally becoming reality all over Europe! What does this mean for FinTechs, banks and developers? What new use cases will be created? How will this affect partnerships between banks and FinTechs? Join Bankathon #7 in Prague in the Czech capital!
The seventh Bankathon will take place from 24th until 26th September 2019 in Prague for its second visit in the CEE region. For this special event, Bankathon is partnering with Komerční Banka to bring Europe’s largest FinTech hackathon series to the Czech Republic. And the location for Bankathon #7 is chosen for a very good reason: In most Czech banks PSD2- and other APIs are already an integral part of their business and therefore they are Open Banking pioneers by European standards.
“We are happy to welcome Bankathon #7 in Prague. We see it as the most exciting Open Banking highlight of this season on European level. As a proud co-organizer, we are looking forward to nurturing amazing innovations and digital ideas on this open platform.” – Martin Sladecek, the Chapter Lead of Open Banking, Research & UX Testing at Komerční Banka
Germany’s first and Europe’s largest FinTech Hackathon is coming to Prague
After the fourth Bankathon in Vienna in May 2017, the event will now take place for the second time outside of Germany with a focus on the Central and Eastern European region. With the Mánes Gallery in the heart of Prague’s Old Town and a view on the castle hill, it makes the perfect location for the creation of far-sighted innovations in Open Banking.
