CzechDemo helps to send start-ups to international conferences
We have already informed you that thanks to Czechinvest´s program CzechDem.Czech start-ups had a chance to take part in the renowned international technological conferences. The only thing they need to do is to sign up for a public call and if they succeed, they will receive a part of European funding thanks to which they will be able to participate in an international conference of their choice. Details about the program HERE.
CzechDemo has send start-ups to Tech Crunch Disrupt in London at the end of the last year already. As it is right now, four start-ups are participating at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas. We are providing a full coverage of the conference for you at our social networks as we have our colleague on the spot. But what is more important, we would like to inform you about a stunning success of the Czech start-up Oscar Tech.
What was the success?
As a part of the program, Czech start-ups attended the so-called “Startup Breakfast”. They have received an exclusive invitation for it through the partnership between us, CzechStartups.org and CES. At the “Startup Breakfast”, Oscar Tech was selected as one of the competitors for Pitch Competition Lifestyle and Digital Health.
The start-up sign up for the competition and it was selected along with 10 other start-ups. All the competitors had a chance to pitch for one minute in front of investors. The CEO of Oscar Tech, Tomáš Posker, took his chance.
“It is a big success for us to be selected as one of the 10 best start-ups with a chance to present ourselves on the stage. Despite the fact we did not win, it is a success that we have an opportunity to present our product to the potential partners we are seeking for at CES.” said Tomáš Posker about it.
In Las Vegas is a huge competition. So, we can evaluate the performance of Oscar Tech as a tremendous achievement. We would like to congratulate to them!
Good luck to all Czech start-ups and we are looking forward to further successes of Czech companies trying to break through.
